This was an interesting read about a writer who cannot resist a dog who comes to him looking to be rescued. And so many of the dogs he rescued DID come to HIM. Many of them were Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes. The author has a strong love for the breed and feels that they have been wrongly vilified by the public. His position is that we should condemn the people who misuse them as fighting dogs rather than taking our wrath out on the breed itself. The way he describes them, Pit Bulls are big, loving, loyal clowns who actually used to be used as nanny dogs and love to give big sloppy kisses. It makes you think, which is a good thing!
